Barr said that news presenter Edwina Bartholomew has been identified as a close contact so must isolate for 14-days, regardless of her test result.

“Eddy is a close contact so she’s isolating, but she’s ok though, and Kochie was already having the day off today.”

Seven has set up a rapid antigen testing station for employees who have been unable to work from home during the NSW outbreak.

Media services have been designated as “essential” and can operate during the lockdown.

“Seven’s number one priority is the health, safety and welfare of all staff and the community” the network said.

Natalie Barr, David Koch and Mark Beretta are all fully vaccinated.

Edwina, who is pregnant with her second child, has had one dose of vaccine.

It comes after NSW recorded 1,029 new covid cases on Thursday and three deaths, a new daily record in Australia.
