NSW COVID exposure site list grows again to include Bunnings and Coles supermarket

A bevy of new venues have been listed as exposure sites after a surge in the number of people infectious in the community.

A bevy of new venues in New South Wales have been listed as exposure sites after a surge in the number of people infectious in the community.

There were 27 new local cases of COVID-19 reported by NSW Health on Wednesday.

Of those, however, 14 had spent at least one day in the community while infectious.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian foreshadowed there would be new exposure sites listed.

NSW Health subsequently issued a Public Health Alert for a number of locations.

Anyone who attended the following venues at the listed times is a close contact.

They should seek testing and isolate for 14 days, regardless of result:

  • Hop and Grain Brew Store in Marrickville on Saturday, July 3 between 10.10am-10.40am.
  • Bunnings Ashfield on Monday, July 5 between 3.50pm-4.05pm.
  • Supercheap Auto in Ashfield on Sunday, July 4 between 2.50pm-3.05pm.
  • Dan Murphy’s in Strathfield South on Saturday, July 3 between 5.45pm-6pm.
  • Commonwealth Bank in Riverwood on Thursday, July 1 between 9.30am-5pm, on Friday, July 2 between 9.30am-4pm and on Monday, July 5 between 9.30am-4pm.

Anyone who attended the following is a casual contact and should seek testing and isolate until a negative result is returned:

  • Chemist Warehouse in Granville on Wednesday, June 30 between 11.15am-11.30am.
  • Jim’s Cellars in Woollahra on Saturday, July 3 between 10.50am-11am.
  • Coles in Fairfield on Saturday, July 3 between 12.10pm-12.30pm.
  • Beds R Us in Wetherill Park on Saturday, July 3 between 2.30pm-3.05pm.
  • Speedway South Granville Petrol Station on Thursday, July 1 between 8.45am-9am.
  • Woolworths in Riverwood on Monday, July 5 between 10.45am-12.15pm.

Further, anyone who attended the Woolworths Metro in Granville on Wednesday, June 30 between 11.10am-11.20am should monitor for symptoms and seek testing should they present.

NSW Health has also confirmed transmission of the virus took place at Club Marconi in Bossley Park.

Anyone who was there on Friday, June 25 between 2pm-8pm anywhere in the club apart from the Piazza bistro area or main gaming area is a close contact.

Additionally, anyone who was there on Saturday, June 26 between 10.30am-6pm is also a close contact.
