Man fighting for life after being stabbed several times in Sydney

One man has been left in a critical condition while, in a separate incident overnight, another man was stabbed in the chest and shoulder.

Two men have been hospitalised after two separate stabbing incidents across Sydney overnight.

In the first, at North Parramatta, a 24-year-old man was found suffering several stab wounds at a unit complex on Isabella Street just before 7pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

A crime scene was established at the unit complex, which was forensically examined by police.

In the second incident, which occurred hours later in Willoughby, a 27-year-old man was stabbed in his chest and shoulder by another man.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Willoughby Road at 1.20am on Wednesday.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers conducted a search of the area but the alleged offender could not be located.

Anyone with information on either incident is urged to come forward.
