New restrictions announced for NSW as COVID-19 outbreak grows

Woolworths stores and a Nandos are among a number of new locations added to Sydney’s list of COVID exposure sites, as NSW continues to battle a surging outbreak of the virus.

A number of extra bus routes have also been added to the list and more virus fragments have been detected in wastewater across Sydney.

The new locations come after NSW recorded a further 16 cases on Wednesday, which includes 13 since 8pm on Tuesday.
