Two people have been shot dead in a violent public shooting in Sydney’s west that police believe is linked to a long-running gangland feud.
Emergency services were called to Osgood Street in Guildford shortly before 9am on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, a car was found with two men - a father and son - inside.

One died at the scene while the other was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He was declared deceased later in the morning.
Police have established a crime scene in the area as they investigate and try to determine how the shooting unfolded.
Specialist forensic police will also be involved to assist in the investigation.
