The dramatic helicopter rescue of a teenage girl struggling in the water was captured on camera.
Police were called to the Nepean River at Emu Plains on Saturday afternoon on reports the 15-year-old girl was in trouble.

She and her father had been kayaking along the river when she fell into the water.
He’d been unable to reach her and called police for help.
The PolAir helicopter was dispatched, with the girl found clinging to a tree in the water.
An officer was lowered to her and winched her to safety.
She was treated by a waiting NSW Ambulance and assessed by paramedics, before being reunited with her dad.
