A man has died in what has been described as a “tragic accident” after he became trapped under a pergola at a home in Adelaide’s northeast.
Emergency services were called to the Surrey Downs home on Saturday evening to reports a man had become trapped after a fallen tree branch caused the structure to collapse.
The 57-year-old was treated at the scene, but he couldn’t be saved.
Another man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with minor injuries.

SA Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
