A woman has been charged with murder after a domestic-related stabbing in the NSW Hunter region.
Emergency services were called to a home in the Maitland suburb of Tenambit on Saturday night after reports a man had been injured.
They found a 51-year-old with stab wounds to his stomach. Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, the man died at the scene.
A 23-year-old woman, known to the man, was arrested and taken to Maitland Police Station.

A crime scene was established at the home which is being forensically examined with detectives beginning an investigation under Strike Force Creekborough.
The woman was refused bail and was expected to appear in Newcastle Bail Court on Sunday.
